2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.After ordering this Ev Charger it arrived in just a few days. It took me about an hour to mount it in my garage. I put a three foot by three foot board on the wall where it would reach any stall in the garage. The mounting bracket took only a few minuets to mount with the included lag screws. I slid the charger into the bracket now all I had to do was wait for the electrician to install the 220V Receptacle which he did a few day later. I could have wired it in myself I worked in electronics for 40 + years but I thought it would be smarter to have it done by an licenced Electrician and permited just incase of any problems down the road.This charger is very easy to use as my wife was imediatly able to use it without any instructions. It is two to three times quicker than the 110 V. charger that came with the car. I also like the fact that the unit is a plug in and not hard wired so it can be un-mounted and use where ever there is a 220 V receptacle or if we should move it can easily be taken with us to the new home.
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.Works as stated. No working issues with my unit. Works with car. Only suggestion to AeroVironment Inc. is to make the locking holes better to feed larger locks to protect the unit (to lock unit to wall).
