This is a smart, 8-step, fully automatic switch-mode battery charger and maintainer. It restores batteries to their original capacity, recovers slightly sulfated batteries, charges batteries in cold climates, rescues drained batteries and provides maintenance charging to increase battery life. A versatile battery charger that provides charging modes for both large and small batteries from 1.2-120Ah, such as cars, RVs, boats and trucks, as well as for motorcycles, ATVs, jet skis or snowmobiles. NOCO's battery chargers are fortified with several unique safety features to protect you, your battery and the battery charger. The VosFX processor is a revolutionary smart processor utilizing sophisticated levels of intelligence to alter the charge process based on organic feedback from the battery to extend battery life. The processor quickly and efficiently makes decisions on how to charge the battery without risking user safety or damage to the battery. Rugged enclosure is made from a rugged polymer for high-impact resistance for some of the harshest and most demanding working environments. Features a fully insulated over-mold casing with strain relief ends to alleviate unwanted tension on cable leads. Each battery connection accessory features an over-molded inline fuse to increase user safety by protecting the battery charger from potentially dangerous short circuits. A uniquely designed interchangeable connector allows accessories to be properly mated and fastened with a snap-lock latch. It returns to last selected mode when restarted, and automatically adjusts itself to changing current needs. It can achieve 100 percent full charge even with varying A/C input voltages, and automatically shuts off if charger remains in bulk charge mode for an extended period of time. The box includes a charger, battery clamp connectors, eyelet terminal connectors, owner's manual and user guide, and product registration card. It is ETL approved for US and Canada and is RoHS compliant.

92 of 95 people found the following review helpful.I needed a new charger after my old one stopped working. I looked around and saw this one. After reading the reviews i went ahead and ordered it. Right before i got my charger my weekend wheeler truck didn't want to start. So i took my battery to get tested at my local auto parts store and they told me my battery was "bad" and i needed a new one. So i took my battery back home and saw that the charger had arrived and it was the perfect time to test it out. I attached the charger to my battery and left it alone for the night. When i came back out in the morning it was fully charged so i took the charger off and let the battery sit. I checked it a few days later and it was still holding the same charge as it had when i took off the charger. The battery is still holding its full charge two weeks later. This battery charger saved me from buying a new battery when this "bad battery" is still good. I would recommend this charger to anybody who has a vehicle.

I purchased this product and have used it on ATV, lawn mover and travel trailer deep cycle battery. So far it has done a good job on topping off my batteries and reviving my neighbors lawn mower battery that was cutting out after 5 minutes until he used the charger.

I`m really impressed with the Genius charger. The status lights let you know exactly what the charger is doing. I'd recommend the charger to anyone with AGM or Gel batteries (as well as traditional wet-cell batteries).Amazon (as usual) had the best price and it was shipped in a timely manner.
