The only thing I wish it did have was a green LED to let me know when the battery has fully charged as it's not that easy to figure out by the meter. Granted when the pointer is at the low point it's charged but you are just never really sure. The only chargers that do have the LED indicators are the ones that have cranking ability. Why Schumacher would do that is beyond me.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.Wow, this charger is heavy. Hope that means it's got a good transformer from 110v. to 12v. Tried it out right away as the two batteries in my F350 Ford diesel were dead. Hadn't driven it for a few weeks as it's a farm truck. Brought them back up fast. Left one on the 2 amp charger over night just to be sure they were fully charged. Really like the capability to manually charge, let the computer do the charging, or do a trickle charge. Not sure about the trickle charge voltage however. Somehow I thought that 1 1/2amps was the max. for trickle charge. Could be wrong, been there before. Seems well made, good battery clips, cords are long enough. Meter seems to work OK.
