2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.I originally purchased the Optimate 3+ for my motorcycle after losing a battery over the harsh Alaskan winter. I ended up using the Optimate 3+ on a truck battery that had sat for 5 years, and drained itself down to 0V. After putting a battery charger on it for about 10 minutes to get an initial charge (the Optimate 3+ will only work if the voltage is above 2-3 volts), I put the Optimate 3+ to work on the battery.Over the course of a week, it desulfated and reconditioned my truck battery and now the battery works great!I highly recommend this charger!
