This manual wheel charger is a versatile wheel-style charger which is great for both slow and fast applications on 6 and 12-volt batteries. The high-output engine will assist batteries in cranking most engines under severe summer or winter weather conditions. Its 200-amps help engines for emergency starting and the 40-amp fast charge helps to charge a battery in 1-3 hours. The 2-amp trickle charge charges a small 12-volt battery in 2-12 hours. It is back-lit, impact-resistant, and has a color-coded meter for work convenience before dawn and after dusk.

It's been left outside in the elements most of that time and I never expected it to last this long but it's still going strong. I bought it at a farm and ranch supply chain (Orschlen's) that went out of business here in Bonham Texas for $75. Best $75 I ever spent. The only thing that's gone wrong is the set of cables & clamps finally gave out this year so I just cut an old (but heavy duty) pair of jumper cables in half and installed those - works great. I've never had to use it for a 6V system but I need to now, and since the sun has faded all the paint off I needed to look at the switch diagram to make sure I remember the switch combinations for the 6v charging. This unit has served me well so I would have to say if you're considering getting one I vote yes.
